Overview:
Here is a quick overview of this seminar series on manifesting for readers
just tuning in. This is our seventh seminar on manifesting spiritual dollars in
the new paradigm. We are exploring the whys and hows of "transformational
manifesting" (i.e., manifesting, which transforms the manifestor and
thereby transforms the world). A core premise of this work is that
transformational manifesting is a
sacred path. Another
deep premise is that it is possible - in fact our destiny - to be on a spiritual
path AND to be rich. According to my research, this transformational
manifestation process unfolds in four spiritual practices, which we are
unfolding in these seminars:
Pop quiz:
We all have a survival mechanism in the primitive brain stem that is
desperate to survive at all costs. This reptilian brain has been called the
"monkey mind" because it resembles thousands of monkeys screeching in
the rain forest. And what does this monkey mind insist on? What does it whine
about unceasingly? When it comes to manifesting, what is its one repetitive,
numbing question?
ANSWER: "But what should I do?"
"But what should I do?" Let's take these one at a time, since they are so important.
Turbo-charge your daily routine tasks with intentions: Now it is your turn. In your routine tasks, what do YOU
want to feel? Fill in the blank: When I am doing _______________, I want to feel
_________, _____________, and __________ . Give more in use value than I receive in cash value:
This is a fundamental Law of Increase. If we are giving more in use value
than we are receiving in cash value, we are increasing all life. This principle
often concerns lightworkers, because it is easy to use this principle to
"give yourself away without healthy boundaries." It does not mean
co-dependency. It means packing your actions with value, so that your actions
are brimming with your life force.
Personal examples of giving more in use value:
When I do consulting and/or counseling with my clients, I do my intentions
(see above) and I commit myself to giving my best. I "go for it". I
offer what I know is more valuable for them than the money they are paying me.
Now it is your turn: where in your life, work, or
career can you give more in use value than you receive in cash value?
Give the Impression of Increase to All:
This one is fun! You interact with various people all day: clients, salesmen,
agents, dry-cleaning clerks, secretaries, friends, family, and colleagues. With
all people, see if you can subtly give them the reminder that all of life is
increasing. The increase of life is the fundamental imperative of the Universe
(The
Unifying Field). Have fun reminding people (and yourself!) that this is so.
Personal examples of the impression of increase:
I am checking out of the grocery store line. The young kid is bagging the
food. I say to him, "Wow, you are pretty good at that." He smiles
sheepishly. I say, "bet you are going to be manager of this store before we
know it."
Now it is your turn. First, practice in your
imagination. Think of an interaction you had today. How could you have had fun
by giving the impression of increase?
Give zestful and astonished appreciation:
This is the best! Though it is buried here among all of these other
principles, it is so powerful. It is a joy to give gratitudes on a daily, even
an hourly, basis. I have trained myself (with the help of my partner, Cynthia,
who is an ever-flowing fountain-of-gratitude) to feel appreciation many times a
day. Abraham says that appreciation is one of the fastest ways to connect with
Source Energy. And since we are working with manifestation in this series, you
can understand just how important is your connection with Source Energy.
What are you grateful for? How many appreciations did
you give today? To others? To yourself? To the Cosmos?
Start exactly where you are:
This should come as a big relief. You do not need to change jobs, or
partners, or yourself before you can "act in a certain way" to
manifest. You can start "acting in a certain way" as you dive into
your paperwork, or get your car lubed. You can start on any job, not matter how
far it seems to be from your dream.
Personal example of starting from where I am:
I have a dream of being a "conference energizer" - someone a
conference would hire, whose sole (soul) purpose is to heighten the experience,
community, and open-heartedness of the conference attendees. Now this is a big
dream. Where do I start? I start with the small classes and workshops I already
give. I pour myself into these, so that I am "acting in a certain way"
- turbo charging each action with intentions, giving more in use value than I
receive in cash value, giving the impression of increase to each person I
contact, and offering daily zestful and astonished appreciation.
Now it's your turn: can you embrace the fact that
"starting exactly where you are" has great power in it?
Conclusion:
Pour yourself into your daily routine tasks so that you are "acting in a
certain way" - turbo charging your tasks with intentions, giving more in
use value than you receive in cash value, giving the impression of increase to
each person you contact, and offering daily zestful and astonished appreciation
exactly right wherever you find yourself. And guess what the payoff is? Well,
one of the MANY payoffs… you will find yourself receiving an inspiration that
will take your breath away. That inspired action becomes the key to unlocking
your manifesting in this 3-D dimension. And to that we shall turn in the next
series. For now, ENJOY finding greater joy in your routine daily tasks; for they
will unlock your big dreams.
