Practical Transformation

POEM: put this by your commode and read it every time you go..... is this known as sprinkling enlightenment in with the shit???

  1. THE BIGGEST THING RIGHT NOW: We continue to be mightily impressed with the power of this principle: CHANGING BRINGS A BACKLASH. When we expand into any new arena, whether finances, health, sexuality, intimacy, spirituality, a change of life-style, new ways of thinking, beliefs, etc. we run up against the status quo. The status quo (how we have been) yells, kicks, and screams all kinds of things to us in order to protect its "domain." The voices outside us and inside us tell us that we are crazy, this is wrong, you can't do this, watch out, don't be a fool, who do you think you are, and you have a right to be scared because this is stupid. We often feel incredibly alone at this time, and cannot receive support from traditional sources whether from a mate, a belief, or internal strength.

    We have to remember that this is just a principle at work: status quo's fear does its best to disguise itself as the ultimate truth. Were we to listen to it, we would back down and stay small. Remembering this principle is at work engenders the tiny mustard seed of courage to continue the expansion, despite what looks bleak. At the same time that we "just do it" or "feel the fear and do it anyway", we have found it helpful to dialogue with these voices of the status quo. We take the role of the nurturing, wise parent talking to a scared and immature child.

    We find ourselves saying things to these voices like: "Yes, I hear you. It is scary. Nothing will be the same. But we like change. We think this is a good thing. We are in charge here. We thank you for trying to protect us. We want to move ahead on this." Even with that assurance, the status quo is not necessarily willing to let go. That's YOUR job. A NOTE: we are discovering that all life demands expansion and when we refuse (resist) to expand in each and every area of our lives we experience pain.
  2. BODY: If we begin to feel a cold, sore throat, or pain, we try to remember to go into the sensation. The first habitual response is to defend against this "intruder." We have thoughts like "Damn, that's the last thing I need right now." Our mind creates resistance. Instead of this, we try to be aware of the resistance, and go beyond it by focusing totally on the sensation of pain. We try to feel the pain as a pure sensation.

    By entering into the pure sensation, it can more easily change form (shape shift). It may also be necessary to own our "desire" embedded in this painful condition, i.e., an excuse to rest, not face something, depend on someone else etc. We have found that the condition will persist until the truth is told about it. If you have reached the point where it is about your belief in the reality of disease then that is the issue with which you must work. When we are successful with these two techniques, we can return to health in 2-24 hours.
  3. INTIMACY: We have gone round and round about sharing our personal "stuff" with each other. We avoided this for several years in our relationship, and probably for good reason we needed to build a base of stability. Now we are going full tilt into sharing with each other our most devious and hidden sub-personalities. We are amazed how sharing this level of our sub-personalities has INCREASED our intimacy. We have even tried an experiment where each night we tell each other three things that we resented and three things we appreciated about the other. The key to this sharing of resentment, irritation, or even hatred is for the "sharer" to take total responsibility for this as a project of a disowned or repressed part of Self. That way there is no blame or attempt to change the other. Always assume that what you are judging in your mate is MIRRORING something in YOU.
  4. THOUGHT: It is amazing for us to study and watch our thought processes. (CB) I have been greatly intrigued with the energy of thought. I wake up each morning with a clear feeling of my energy bodies present in me. I know when an energy body is ready to be uplifted/evolved. It could be a thought pattern, belief system, emotional pattern or a physical pattern. It continues to correlate to the issues that my inner being knows I am ready to pursue. I am becoming very aware of that state between sleep and being awake. In that in-between state I know exactly where the energy form exists in my body and how it is interfering with my higher state or Self.

    Spending time with the energy and getting clear with my intentions usually sets off a most miraculous set of events. The psychological and spiritual readings that Frederic and I do each morning always relate to my awakening turbulence. So even though my "stuff" is embarrassing, shameful, etc. it is exciting and produces in me great optimism. I believe that it is because of my great intent, my desire to purify, and my diligence in "feeling" that throughout the day that I have become more aware. I am sensing much more quickly when things are "off". This wondrous process has been greatly helped by The Awakening Your Light Body Work and the Pathworks. (See events listed later and the order form at the end).
  5. FEELINGS: (CB) Spirit, the Unifying Field, God or what ever we may call "IT" seems to use my feelings to communicate to me. My emotional body seems to be the an important vehicle through which I interpret the well being of my physical body, the balance or alignment of my mental body, and the openness or contraction of my spiritual body. (I am still "feeling" this one out.) I have current strong thoughts (feelings) about being sensitive and aware of all of my feelings. In working with people, we observe that as a general rule all of us resist, inhibit, restrain, attempt to change most of our feelings. We fear our feelings both bad and good. Since I am regarding my feelings as communications from the higher place, I am feeling excited to hear what every feeling is telling me. OH, what an adventure!

    Many of my feelings are expressing very immature, outraged, deadened, judgmental, un-evolved, petty ideas and thoughts. It is like my higher self is saying, "Pay attention, this is important". " Look what mis-qualified energy you have hiding and creating." It is taking practice, but I am learning to disclose to myself, and those are around me, that which I have been shamefully hiding. I am becoming freer every day. For as I not longer judge and hide my darkness I have the energy to experience my light. Again, this process is assisted by the Awakening Your Light Body and the Pathwork to Self Transformation.
  6. CREATIVITY: To absolutely heighten your creativity and creative output, try this. Break your routine. Go to bed early and get up in the middle of the night. Then work until dawn and take a walk in the sunrise. You can nap later that afternoon if you need. Have a project or projects that you want to get into, or just the desire to "clear your desk." Getting four or five hours of sleep before you get up in the middle of the night is plenty. Put on great music or better yet, work in the luxurious silence. Go outside frequently and stare at the stars. You will be amazed what you can get accomplished by doing this experiment (read example below).
  7. EXAMPLES OF FALLING INTO DUALITY AND THEN CRAWLING BACK TO UNIFIED: (FW) We came back from a wonderful week's vacation, to mounds of mail, several crises, problems with a staff member, IRS penalties, etc. That night I got very disconnected by all this, went to bed stewing, and (of course) woke up at 3:17 in the morning. Painful as it is to get up and get dressed, I did. I went to a separate room, and put on a CD of drumming. I drummed for an hour. It felt great to beat on the drum with my fists. Out of that ferment, came the inspiration to begin this newsletter. I was amazed and grateful that such a riot of angry and overwhelmed feelings when faced and worked with could shift into creative energy.
  8. LIGHT BODY: (CB) Those of you that have studied with me and the Orin/Daben Light Body work know their incredible value. I am putting out a strong call to past and future students. I am doing this for two reasons. First, I am now doing an advanced and most exciting course which recommends that one has completed the Awakening the Light Body. Second, I am currently working with several people again on the Light Body Course and it is profound in its results. Every soul is guided to its own experience. However here are a few of mine:
    • It is a great tool in becoming aware and sensing energies. (A must in doing advanced work)
    • It disentangles the emotional, physical, and mental bodies. I experience this happening. Once disentangled, we have an easier time with understanding and healing. While these bodies stay entangled, it feels like total confusion and is difficult to make headway.
    • It teaches us how to navigate in other frequencies and dimensions. How to go out "there" and know where "there" is. And very important how to gently and easily come back with "information" that can help us live more joyfully, peacefully and productively.
    • It gives one the experience of the Unifying Field with its grandeur and love helping us know who we really are.

    I have used the light body work as a foundation for an even more powerful experience of connecting to the Unifying Field. I have been listening to a new series of advanced tapes on Ascension. My soul cries out FINALLY! THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN PREPARING FOR! NOW I AM REMEMBERING WHY I AM HERE! My goal now is to integrate and braid all that remembering into my daily life. I will tell you more about this in future newsletters.   9. HELPFUL TECHNIQUE: One more time because we are really trying to get this one: When we are feeling emotion, we remind ourselves and each other, that it is OK to feel these emotions. This is so incredibly basic it would not deserve mentioning, except that our resistance to our emotions is totally in control. We have seen this in our work with others: that the more sensitive, new age, metaphysical, spiritual, or old soul is the person, the greater their resistance to just allowing the emotions up for acknowledgment, statement, and perhaps expression. If you have the intention to become whole, this is the fastest route.

    Every time we refuse to feel, or acknowledge, our disconnect, we leave a part of us outside of and preventing our wholeness. (CB) I have (as most of us have) learned not to recognize, let alone reveal, the parts that might be judged. It has not been easy to give up my resistance and take a chance of looking like a jerk. But I must tell you that through this, I am really starting to get my power and respect for myself.

    A critical key here is to totally own what is going on to speak of MY fear, MY judgement, MY jealousy, MY not enough, MY anger, MY shame, MY demanding child, or MY whatever. When presented like this, the other person is able to hear and witness this denied, fragmented part so that I can stop manipulating and orchestrating its secrecy. Consider the amount of energy used to hold these feelings out of consciousness. Ask yourself: Where would this energy be used if I weren't pushing down so many things?
