OVERVIEW: We all know that “allowing” (or surrendering) is a decisive requirement for successful manifesting, but exactly WHEN does this crucial step fit in? There is a delicate timing issue as to WHEN to “allow” in the overall process - too early and the results are impotent; too late and the results are sterile. In my own manifesting process, I have mis-timed the allowing step, and I have seen many lightworkers and cultural creatives use this step pre-maturely, or as an excuse to not do the manifesting “work” at all. This online seminar attempts to clarify WHEN to use the power of allowing. Understanding and using this wisdom will bring you more precision and success to your manifesting results. Let’s explore the power of allowing, and how - and when - to use it appropriately. POP-QUIZ: Bobbie wants to manifest a loving
relationship (. . . or $ . . .or . . .). (a) Identify this desire clearly and then allow it to manifest, OR What is your answer? My answer is the rest of this article, and summarized at the end of the article. (See if you can wait) WHEN does allowing fit into the transformational manifesting process? We can understand the power of allowing by understanding its correct timing in the alchemy of the manifestation process. Allowing comes as a pause, and a rest, near the end of a particular manifestation work. Allowing alternates with the work you do to manifest, just as night alternates with day. As I have said before, this work-of-giving-birth (and you know that it requires focus if you have tried to do this) is (1) clarifying your desire, (2) raising your vibration, and (3) following through on each inspired action you receive. Then there is a rest. A letting go. A surrendering unto something much larger than just your human activity. After we have done this precise work, we have to let go, even though the ego wants to keep anxiously turning the manifestation over and over. In short, allowing is the fourth step or gateway in the transformational manifesting process. It corresponds to the season of autumn. It is the pause at the end of the breathing cycle. Personal Example of Right Timing:Along with wanting to manifest a higher form of service, and my soul gifts and talents, I have wanted to manifest a good sum of spiritual dollars. I define spiritual dollars as dollars that will be spent to bring about good for many. I spent a long time clarifying and purifying this desire from its ego attachments and distortions. I now know precisely what I will spend this great wealth on (although I cannot be attached to the form, and I must allow it to continue morphing into different visions). This clarification and purification of the ego desires was work! I have also spent many hours raising my vibration to match this exalted vision. I have had a few (but only a few) inspirations as to actions I could take. So having done the work, I have repeatedly let go. I have dropped into a surrendered place, knowing that I alone was too small to accomplish this manifestation. This big dream needed the huge help of Spirit. As I have undergone the alternation of work and surrender, I have come across two (not one, but two) huge opportunities for great wealth. I am in the process of playing with these both. However, the point is that by doing the work and alternating it with letting go/allowing, a seemingly impossible manifestation is coming into form. This is exactly the same alternating rhythm between focus and surrender that my partner and I followed to manifest a healing center/ranch without any initial funds (that story is here). A Learning Practice:
Can we allow “too soon” in the process?Yes. It is premature to allow before you are in the sparkle zone. It is premature to allow before you have received inspirations for actions to do. And many would-be-manifestors make these timing mistakes. They have been led to believe that all they “have to do” is desire something, and then “allow” the universe to fulfill it. Even Abraham’s manifesting formula “summon, then allow” can be mistaken in precisely this way. Such a premature allowing is inefficient, because the focused work of raising vibration and of following through on inspired actions has not been done. Again, my experience with Transformational Manifesting is that it requires both medicine (hard work) and magic (allowing). It requires that razor’s edge between doing (but not from the ego; instead, from the soul) and non-doing (allowing, trusting and bowing to Spirit). Personal Example of Premature Allowing:I have intuited for many years that I have a healing power that flows through my hands. As one of my soul gifts or talents, I have vaguely “desired” for this healing power to manifest more fully. Having vaguely desired this, I repeatedly “let it go” . And behold! I have not manifested this clearly yet. My own critique of my process is that I have not been willing to do the focused work of (1) clearly desiring it, (2) raising my vibration into the sparkle zone, and (3) following inspirations for action. In short, I have moved to the allowing step pre-maturely, and the manifestation has not been successful. A Learning Practice:
SUMMARY: So let us return to our pop quiz. Bobby wants to manifest a loving relationship. She should … a. Identify this desire clearly and then allow it to manifest, OR Which is the correct answer? (e) None of the above. None of these answers clearly explains how allowing fits into the transformational manifesting process. Each of these answers represents a misunderstanding of the full process of transformational manifesting. Instead of any of these answers above, Bobby should clearly identify her desire for a loving relationship (step 1), raise her vibrations into the manifesting zone (step 2), act on the inspired actions which will then organically come to her (step 3), and then - and only then - allow something bigger than herself to take over and to bear fruit (step 4). May you master the art of allowing. May you allow and surrender at the right time!
