he term "Unified Field" is one of those deliberately ambiguous metaphors.

It deliberately and deliciously offers endless possibilities for interpretation and projection. Is the Unified Field a mathematical reality, a mystical key, God, an actual event, a Mystery?

Such diverse disciplines as astrophysics, cosmology, and transcendental meditation, and diverse thinkers as Thomas Berry, Brian Swimme, and Deepak Chopra continue to make new revelations about this shattering metaphor.

Our Foundation has embraced this term because it seems to hold all these possibilities. The term "Unifying Field" confounds the human tendency to reify, literalize, and de-sacralize.  And we like this!

We emphasize the unifying of fields because, however unified it may be out there in the cosmos, the major work still needed right here on Planet Earth is that of unifying.

To the degree that we at our Foundation can comprehend the Unified Field, we are fall-down-on-our-knees in AWE. We live in profound gratitude to be in the midst of such stupendous activity.
